About Me

Tracy Immordino Profile Photo

Hello and Welcome! My name is Tracy, and I am a photographer, travel planner, writer and adventurer. I live in Wisconsin with my husband. I believe in living life fully, making memories to cherish forever and being present in the now. My husband and I are now at the (mostly) empty nest phase. With the prospect of the empty nest looming, my husband asked me what I wanted to do to fill my time. After hearing my wishy-washy response on what I thought I should do versus what I really wanted to do, he encouraged me to follow my passion, to spend my days doing what I most loved to do. So, here I am, crafting the next phase of my life, savoring every moment, filling it with things I love: photography, vacation planning, traveling, hiking, gardening, Tai Chi, reading, writing, laughing and creating memories for my family. I believe that the world is my playground and it is my objective to see as much of it as I possibly can.

Many of my fondest memories center around our family vacations. I look back upon our memories with a full and happy heart, but not with longing, because I really lived those days as fully as I could. It is my intention to continue living fully and to continue savoring every moment and every cherished memory. Our vacationing style has evolved with the age and interests of our children, and now our empty nest. We spent most of our vacations when the kids were young in Florida or Wisconsin Dells, amusement parks and water parks filled our days. Once they reached the ages of 8 and 12 (the age we hoped our youngest would be able to remember our trips) we switched gears and started taking cross county road trips. It was at this time that I realized how much I loved planning these adventures. Our road trips have taken us to New Hampshire, Washington, D.C., Colorado, California and Idaho. We’ve walked across the crater of a dormant volcano in Hawaii, swam with dolphins in Florida, zip lined down a mountain in New Hampshire, slept in the Amazon, toured Machu Picchu and so much more.

Please join me to ‘visit’ the places I’ve been, share in some of my family’s misadventures, and see where I am going next and how I plan to get there. I’m hoping to inspire you to take a few adventures of your own! It’s a beautiful world out there, let’s go play!
