Along the Scenic Southern Drive in Bryce Canyon National Park, there are nine stunning viewpoints.

Sheep Creek and Swamp Canyon
We had already stopped at Rainbow Point, Black Birch Canyon and Ponderosa Point, as well as, Agua Canyon, Natural Bridge, and Farview Point. Our next stop was Sheep Creek and Swamp Canyon. This viewpoint contains two trailheads.

Sheep Creek and Swamp Canyon
The Swamp Canyon trail is 4.4 miles and is rated moderate. Hikers recommend hiking it in a counterclockwise direction for the best views. This stop is located at mm 6.

Paria Canyon Overlook
To get to Paria Canyon Overlook, you will have to take a short drive onto the Bryce Point Spur Road.

Paria Canyon Overlook
The elevation at the viewpoint is 8,175 feet.

Paria Canyon Overlook
There is a short, paved path to the overlook, making this a wheelchair accessible stop.

Paria Canyon Overlook
There are no trailheads located here.

Bryce Point Canyon
Next up was Bryce Point Canyon. Here, you will get a sweeping view of the Bryce Amphitheater. It is an elevation of 8,300 feet.

Bryce Point Canyon
To access Bryce Point Canyon vista, you will need to drive two miles along the Bryce Point Access Road. There is a large parking lot. This is also a shuttle stop for the bus service in the park. Several trails start at this location. It is also wheelchair accessible and has garbage/recycling available.
One tip I’d like to offer is, take pictures of each of the signs that tell you what lookout you are at before you start taking other pictures. It’s very helpful when you are looking back and trying to distinguish each of the viewpoints from one another. The time stamps on your photos will help as well, but it’s much quicker to simply take a picture of each sign.
Our next stops included Inspiration Point (all three levels) and Fairyland Canyon. As always, wishing you happy travels and fantastic adventures in this thing called life.
